It's been a while (reprise)

Sooooooo...I know it's been a REALLY long time...but I'm still making art!!!! I posted a few things yesterday 
But most of my time lately has been focused on work. I'm currently employed part time, though over the holiday season I was getting very close to full time hours. I also have the potential for full time work soon! So I spend most of my free time relaxing, and doing much needed stuff. I do find time for art, just not as much. I'm still writing fics, though my time restraints apply there as well (I'm melibells on FF.net and melifair on AO3).
I tend to spend a lot of free time goofing on tumblr (I'm melifair there too!) just because I enjoy the format and have made several good friends. If you want to check out my blog, you are totally welcome! Though be prepared for the overwhelming randomness

I've gotten busy, Avengers have taken over my subconscious, and I'm been sucked into the tumblr thing

AVENGERS: OMG!!!!!!!

So I have seen the Avengers three times in three days this weekend, and I'm still buzzing from the overwhelming epic-ness that is the trifecta of super nova hot heroes, like EVER!
Seriously, Hemsworth, Evans, and Downey Jr. = best freaking combo!
And while I love Thor and Ironman, my crush for Chris Evans as Captain America has been reinforced tenfold!!!! Holy crap, that man is gorgeous! *swoons*
and he is so adorably lost when it comes to modern references, and so amusingly old-fashioned, hee!
And Loki was delightfully bad, and evil, and Tom really is the perfect actor to play him! And Hulk was absolutely freaking awesome!
So, in conclusion, there will be some Avengers fan art from me! Probably starting with Captain America since I heart him so hard definitely some Thor and Ironman too
Now, to conclude my marathon weekend of hot guy superhero movie viewing, I settle in to watch some Game of Thrones, and hopefully Jon Snow will have more screen time

I am so creeped out right now...

Ok, this evening's episode of Game of Thrones was really good, expectedly gross in the dead corpse and torture department. Tyrion of course was awesome. But the last few minutes... <---currently winning top spot of the freakiest thing I've ever seen.
What the hell did she give birth to?!?! I'm so disturbed by the whole scene that even my body's natural inclination to want to have children has come to a complete stop.
Game of Thrones is a great show, but squeamish be warned!!!!

A Tale of the Chronically Clumsy....

So, do you know what five gallons of water looks like when you spill it?
I do!!!!
I lost my grip on one of those gigantic water cooler thingies (that's roughly 5 gallons of water) because, in all honesty, those are ridiculously heavy, and down it went. Thankfully it missed my toes, because I'm sure they'd be broken. But it hit the tile, the heavy plastic cracked and a piece chipped off, and out spilt the whoooooollllllleeeeee thing *facepalm*
I learned that five gallons of water roughly covers my entire kitchen an 1/3 of my living room. It also takes every single towel in the linen closet to mop up.
At least my floor is really clean now, and with Zephyrhills natural spring water to boot!!!
